National Council on the Arts Public Session October 2021

The National Endowment for the Arts will host the 204th meeting of the National Council on the Arts on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. The meeting will include updates on agency business, Council action on grants, and a presentation by Bill O’Brien, NEA senior innovation advisor to the chair, on the recent announcement of the Creative Forces® Community Engagement Grants.

About the National Council on the Arts
The National Council on the Arts members advise the NEA chair on agency policies and programs and review and make recommendations on applications for grants, funding guidelines, and leadership initiatives. Members are nominated by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
