NEA Chairman Jane Chu to Visit Columbus, Ohio
Washington, DC—NEA Chairman Jane Chu will visit Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, September 19, 2014. Her visit is hosted by Charlotte Kessler, a member of the National Council on the Arts.
At 10:15 a.m. Chairman Chu will speak at the 2014 Lawrence & Isabel Barnett Symposium on the Arts & Public Policy held during the dedication of the Lawrence and Isobel Barnett Center for Integrated Arts and Enterprise.
Following this, she will visit the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus to learn more about the Columbus Idea Foundry and 400 West Rich Street arts complex. She will end her visit at the Columbus Museum of Art to see the construction of the new wing.
