NEA Chairman Jane Chu to Visit Nashua, Peterborough, and Keene, New Hampshire, June 2–3, 2015

Washington, DC—National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Jane Chu will visit New Hampshire, on June 2–3, 2015. She will visit arts organizations in Nashua and Peterborough on June 2 and speak at New England Foundation for the Arts’ Creative Communities Exchange in Keene on June 3. Follow @NEAJaneChu on Twitter for updates and photos on her trip to New Hampshire. Chairman Chu will begin her visit to New Hampshire in Nashua on June 2, where she will join Mayor Donnalee Lozeau on a driving tour to see Nashua’s sculptures and public art installations. Media are invited to join the stops at Cotton Mill Square and Rotary Common; RSVP to Carolyn Mortellaro at mortellaroc@nashuanh.gov for exact details. Following this tour, Mayor Lozeau will lead a discussion at City Hall about the city’s plans for a performing arts center. Media may attend this discussion. Next, Chairman Chu will travel to Peterborough, where she will visit two frequent recipients of NEA support: MacDowell Colony and Monadnock Music. Chairman Chu will then visit Monadnock Music. This visit will include a short performance as well as a discussion about Monadnock Music’s work.
