Psalmayene 24: Ultimately, I'm the person who says “Yes, let's do it like this,” or “No, let's not do it like this.” But I want to hear all the ideas. I want to hear the bad ideas. I want to hear the great ideas. I mean, if I don't hear enough bad ideas, then I feel like maybe I haven't done something right to create an environment of safety in the room. I want all of my collaborators, actors, designers, stage management, I want us all to feel like we can throw out those really zany ideas. Because every now and again, those zany ideas might actually be strokes of genius.
