On October 12, 2017, the NEA held the last webinar in a series of conversations around building sustainable careers for documentary professionals. The series highlighted themes from the recently released NEA Report, State of the Field: A Report from the Documentary Sustainability Summit, in conjunction with the International Documentary Association. During this conversation, presenters shared their perspective and experience presenting community-minded programs that bring a regional spotlight to independent content creators and non-fiction storytellers.
