On March 15, 2017, the NEA hosted a webinar on how State Arts Agencies can participate in Poetry for Life (PFL). This exciting project joins the skills and passion of the young poets participating in Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest with elders at senior, assisted living, and adult day care centers. PFL provides students with opportunities to practice their recitation skills outside of the classroom and State Arts Agencies with opportunities to strengthen community outreach and engagement.
