Ann Eilers is the deputy chair for management and budget at the National Endowment for the Arts. In that role, she provides executive leadership to a diversely skilled team of professionals that provides budget, finance, human resources, administration, information technology, and grants management services to the agency. Eilers also served as the agency’s acting chair from January 2021 to January 2022.

Previous to her tenure at the NEA, Eilers held various finance, administration, audit, and board advisory positions in both the public and private sectors. She received her master of science degree in information and telecommunication systems from Johns Hopkins University, holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, and is a certified public accountant.
