On September 24, we celebrate NEA Big Read author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 120th birthday! Fitzgerald was one of America’s most prominent writers of the 20th century. His writing style evoked emotions associated with American life at the time – portraying both realism and idealism in his work. Notably known as the author of The Great Gatsby, among many other great works of literature, Fitzgerald continues to entertain audiences today with his iconic writing style and stories.
