U.S. Travel and Tourism Satellite Accounts for 2010-2013
The most recent economic estimates of travel and tourism are discussed in this 2014 Survey of Current Business article by BEA economist Steven Zemanek. Travel and tourism contains elements of the arts and culture—namely performing arts and movies—and its satellite account served as a model for the ACPSA.
Canadian Culture Satellite Account, 2010
In September 2014, Statistics Canada released the first Canadian Culture Satellite Account for 2010. The account shows that culture contributed 3.1 percent to the Canadian economy in 2010, while sports contributed 0.3 percent.
