In just over a week, we're honoring the 2019 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters--Stanley Crouch, Bob Dorough, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Maria Schneider--with a tribute concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. With performances from world-renowned musicians like Terri Lyne Carrington, NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan, Kurt Elling, and many more, the concert is sure to swing!  We hope you'll join us at 8pm ET on Monday, April 15 on arts.gov for the live webcast of this truly special event! If you'd like to attend the concert in person, please note that advance reservations for this event are filled and have closed. Tickets, however, will be available the night of the concert on a first-come, first-served basis to those in a standby line. Patrons are encouraged to arrive from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. to receive tickets via the standby line. What better way to kick off the celebration but to take a look a back at the 2018 NEA Jazz Masters tribute concert, featuring performances from Angelique Kidjo, Christian McBride, and Cécile McLorin Salvant, among many others, in honor of Todd Barkan, Joanne Brackeen, Pat Metheny, and Dianne Reeves.
