Held on May 15, 2017, the webinar discussed tactics on how to reach out to military families in the community. Presentations were given by Wendy Clark and Paulette Beete from the NEA, Suzi Guardia from Blue Star Families, and Bruce Moody from the Department of Defense. A Q&A session followed the presentations. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families from Memorial Day, May 29, through Labor Day, September 4, 2017.
